Mark, Jennifer, Ethan, Emily

This blog is about our family, who have dealt with the loss of two sons with Muscular Dystrophy, the adoption of a son diagnosed with Agenesis of Corpus Callosum and the birth our a healthy little girl. It's a crazy life, but we are loving it.

The Six Flags Over Texas

Recently Ethan had his 4th grade program. It was about the six flags over Texas.

Now Ethan isn't comfortable with standing and singing in front of crowds like other kids. In fact, his place was in the front row and while all the other kids were singing songs like Deep In The Heart of Texas, Ethan just stood there. Most of the time with his arms crossed. It kind of peeved me that he was placed on the front row. His teachers know all about Ethan and how he isn't comfortable with these kind of social situations.

 Pictures are a little blurry.

But then came the square dancing. And believe it or not, he had a smile on his face during the dancing.

Seeing the smile on his face made it worth it. I was a little nervous when it was time for him to dance but he did great.
