Thanksgiving, Pt. 2

We had a great Thanksgiving! We had lunch at my parent's house on Thanksgiving Day.

It was really a great day. I was expecting lots of bickering with each other from the kids (like usual)! But the kids were on their best behavior! They played hard at their MeMe's house and were very well behaved on the way home. I was very happy and very thankful!

Thanksgiving, Pt. 1

It's been a while since I've posted anything. Truth is, I just haven't felt like it. Work has been stressful, Ethan's behavior hasn't been the best and lots going on with other activities. But, I hope to get back in the swing of things.

Here's a wrap up of what we've been up to.

Our church hosted our annual Harvest Festival.

We had the Master Peace Quartet come and sing. They were great.

A few of our friends from our old church came and visited.

It was so good to see them again!

Revenge Of The Nerd

The week before Halloween, the kids school had a week dedicated to different themes about saying NO to drugs. You know, like "Put a cap on drugs" where the kids could wear hats to school, and so on. One day, they had "Outsmart drugs, dress like a nerd" day!

Ethan didn't want to dress up, but Emily was excited to! Here are a few pics I took that morning.

Also, she woke up with pink eye in her right eye and couldn't go to school this particular day. She was so disappointed, so I dressed her up anyway to take her picture!

Halloween 2011

I had such nice plans to celebrate Halloween this year and I ended up getting sick, sick, sick. I'm just now starting to feel better. So for now, here are the pics of the kids I managed to take after pulling myself off the bathroom floor. On an added note, my husband is a saint! Literally. He completely took over for me while I was sick. OK, on with the pictures...
